Suspended Balance
This work marks a point of transition within my artistic practice.
It emerges from a more restrained place, where gesture is reduced and the language is refined into a quieter, more essential expression.
The palette —beiges, greys, and blacks— creates a space of calm and suspension,
where the surface breathes and balance is sustained through subtlety.
Created in the context of an art competition, this piece led me to explore a more sober register,
shifting without losing what defines my work. Because even within restraint, my signature remains.
The large format (180 × 180 cm) transforms the process into a physical and mental act,
where every decision requires precision, presence, and measure.
More than a piece within a catalogue, it reflects an evolution:
a conscious transition towards a language where elegance is built through restraint.
